This shawl is from Bahariya Oasis in the Western Desert of Egypt. Made of silk and cotton, it has a supple hand and beautiful subtle colors. It is woven in two long panels that are stitched together down the center and it measures  93" long by 55" wide. The 6" fringe on both ends is in excellent shape. It has not been washed, and some spots are evident that may disappear when cleaned. EG555  $400
