Ethnic textiles - Javanese batik details

This fanciful Solo batik is probably from the 1950's and is of very fine cotton. It measures 93" by 42" and is in great condition with just two small 1" tears that have been stitched. This design is drawn by hand in wax, a tulis batik. JAV307 $190 |
